• Experience with both through-hole and fine pitch SMT soldering/rework.
• Can use both digital and optical microscopes.
• Experienced at soldering to meet MIL-STD-2000 specifications utilizing MetCal, OKI, and Weller soldering stations.
• Adept with building prototype circuits, breadboarding, using device programmers, and single layer PCB etching.
• Adherent to ROHS requirements.
• Adept at utilizing desoldering stations, hot air, hot tweezer, and wick for component removal.
• Experienced with DMM’s, Analog VM’s, digital & analog o’scopes, audio/frequency/spectrum analyzers, waveform generators, benchtop power supplies, temperature-controlled baths, thermocouple thermometers, digital manometers, analog gauges, etc.
• Have used Orcad v2.21 through v16.6, KiCad v6 through v9, and Sunstone PCB123 for schematic capture (single page and hierarchical), PCB layout, and Top Level Assembly drawings.
• For 2D mechanical and floor plan drawings, I am experienced with Turbocad v16 through v2024. (use of Autocad was limited to 1996 to 2001).
